Why Apollo Athletics?

Track has always taught me one thing, and that is to always keep moving forward no matter how tough, hard, or impossible it might seem. For a long time, I have wanted to start a business called Apollo Athletics and I thought since I was taking a class that required a blog for a project this might be a good time to do it. Taking another step towards the finish line of life always moving forward. I am sure you all know about the Greek god, Apollo, however, I didn’t just choose Apollo because it sounds good with athletics I choose it because of what Apollo stands for. No, he is not the god of sports but he does pull the sun across the sky every single day. This means that without Apollo there would be no sunrise. I believe that athletes represent the same dedication that Apollo does. Each one of us rises before the sun comes up working to achieve something that we couldn’t do yesterday. When the sun rises we are always there to see and I am sure if some us could we would be there with a run and pulling it across the sky. That is the reason behind the name Apollo Athletics. I am excited to join everyone on the journey that is finishing the race of life!
